Delete your Shop Chop Chow account

You can permanently delete your account from the web app or the Android app. You must sign in again before deletion so another person cannot delete your account.

Delete from the web app

1. Sign in to Shop Chop Chow.
2. Open Settings, then Account.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Re-enter your password if requested, type DELETE, and confirm.

What is deleted

• Your Firebase Authentication account and personal user record are deleted.
• Your notification tokens and device-linked account data are removed.
• If you are the household's only member, the household and its shared data are deleted.
• If other members remain, shared recipes, plans and lists stay with the household. You leave the household; if you own it, ownership moves to another member.
• Routine backup copies may remain until their normal retention period expires.

Deleting your Shop Chop Chow account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by an app store or billing provider. Cancel it from Settings → Subscription before deleting if needed.

Cannot sign in?

Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We will verify the request before deleting anything. Never send us your password.
